* Important Note in taking the MBE *
(a) Please remember that you will need to solve 100 questions in 180 minutes
thus, you will need to spend 1 question per 1.8 minutes
(b) Do not panic: Anxiety inhibits your memory from functioning well and
you won't be able to read the questions carefully enough to pick the right response when you panic
(c) Do not follow your instinct when you are taking the MBE: The MBE are type of questions
that legal principles to be applied to factual situations in a rational manner
(d) Be prepared: Please study the law daily every day, for it is hard to know and
understand the law in details when you cram the content at the last minute
(e) Read the facts carefully and do not assume the facts
(f) Among the answers, A B C D, the answers that are incorrect,
that is, the answers that you need to eliminate are the answers that:
1) ignore the central issue in the question,
2) state the law incorrectly,
3) describe the fact incorrectly or describe the fact that is not in existence in the question, and/or
4) are ambiguous and ineffective compared to other answers,
even if the answer is factually or legally correct
(g) As every law school student already knows, there are seven subjects in MBE:
Civil Procedure, Constitutional Law, Contracts, Criminal Law & Procedure,
Evidence, Real Property, and Torts
(Written in alphabetical order)
p.s.
If a question contains a statute, the statute will determine the issue of the question,
and the correct answer depends upon interpreting the statute as it is written
Thank You & Good Luck
